While St. John's does not currently have an active support target in South America, we have previously supported a daughter of St. John's in a church planting mission. Church planting involves establishing churches in areas where no Christian church has ever existed. This is quite an undertaking that includes securing property, erecting buildings and procuring electricity. Success is measured by establishment of regular service schedules, baptisms, choirs and youth groups.
