Winnie is a missionary in Asia. She works with nationals and westerners of various professions. She prepares orientation materials for westerners coming into the area, so they will not only survive, but thrive in Asia. She is also involved with developing literacy programs, providing life skills, and establishing training centers for teaching trades.

Prayer requests:

• Pray for Winnie's good health, as this is crucial with her extensive travel schedule.
• Pray for her safe travel
• Pray for Christian believers, as this is a dangerous time for Christians in many Asian countries.
  

Rev. Russell and spouse are missionaries in Jerusalem, Israel. We support them through the ELCA Division for Global Mission. They are basically there to pastor a Church community, providing pastoral care to Arab and ex-patriot Christians in Old City, Jerusalem.

• Pray for Arab Christians in this divided land.
• Pray for peace making efforts by Jews, Muslims, and Christians in Israel and bordering countries.
