|BIBLE STUDY OPPORTUNITIES IN SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER
KERYGMA – Discovering the Bible
Monday PM from 6:30 – 8:00 in MP Room
Thursday AM from 10:00 – 11:30 in Library
What the heck is KERYGMA?
Kerygma is a Greek word used in the New Testament to refer to the content of the Christian proclamation about Jesus. It means to proclaim, to preach.
We are offering a small group six week Bible study on Monday evenings and again on Thursday mornings using a curriculum called Kerygma: Discovering the Bible. In order to keep things managable, we are going to do the first five sessions looking at the first five books of the Old Testament, the Penteteuch.

WINE IN THE BIBLE
Wednesday PM from 6:30 – 8:00 in Parlor
Cost $10 plus and occasional bottle of wine to share
Wine was an important part of culture and faith in biblical times. Both the Passover and the Lord’s Supper utilize God’s gift of wine as a key symbolic element. The eight studies are strongly scriptural, well researched, and engaging of both mind and palate!
